The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is a federal advocacy program dedicated to protecting people living in long term care facilities. A certified Long Term Care Ombudsman is a trained advocate who resolves issues with long term care facilities on behalf of residents and their families. Serving in this role in one of Dutchess Counties nursing homes, will allow Ms. Cohn to give back to some our most valuable and vulnerable resources, our elderly.
